Hrithik Roshan had a rocking 2019 as both his films that year were huge hits. While Super 30 collected Rs. 146.94 crores, War, which also starred Tiger Shroff, was a blockbuster as it accumulated Rs. 317.91 crores. As a result, there’s tremendous excitement for Vikram Vedha, Hrithik Roshan’s immediate release. It is all set to be released in cinemas on September 30 and there have been speculations that its trailer will be out in the second week of August.
Bollywood Hungama has now found an interesting update about its teaser. A source told Bollywood Hungama, “The trailer of the film is not coming. The teaser of Vikram Vedha will be launched and it’ll be shown before the shows of Aamir Khan-starrer Laal Singh Chaddha and Akshay Kumar-starrer Raksha Bandhan in cinemas. Both the films are releasing on August 11. The teaser will not be attached to the prints of these films. The theatres have been asked to play the teaser when viewers come to watch the two big films next week. As expected, exhibitors are more than happy to accept this request as Vikram Vedha is one of the most anticipated films of 2022.”
The trade, industry and fans have been waiting for this film for multiple reasons. The source said, “It’s Hrithik Roshan’s first film in 3 years, who has a phenomenal pull at the box office. Moreover, it’s a remake of a terrific Tamil film of the same name. Saif Ali Khan also joins Hrithik in this movie and the casting has also aroused curiosity. Hrithik Roshan’s first look, too, has impressed viewers and due to all these reasons, the expectations from this film are skyhigh. As a result, its teaser is being awaited very keenly. And with Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan expected to record good footfalls, the makers felt that it’ll be apt to present the teaser with the Aamir Khan starrer and the Akshay Kumar starrer respectively.”
The source also said, “Before it’ll be shown in cinemas, Vikram Vedha’s teaser will also be released online. That is expected to happen on August 9 or 10.”
Along with Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan, Vikram Vedha also stars Radhika Apte, Rohit Saraf and Sharib Hashmi. Pushkar–Gayathri, who directed the original film, has also helmed the remake.
