Ridhi Dogra and Raqesh Bapat are one of the few separated couples who have always showcased their friendship and respect for each other on social media, despite their divorce. She also showed her support when her ex-husband found love again in Shamita Shetty when they met in the Bigg Boss house. However, the actress was recently dragged into their separation after Raqesh and Shamita announced their breakup on social media. Trolls accused her of being the reason behind the couple’s separation.
However, reacting and responding to these trolls and shutting them down, Ridhi Dogra took to Twitter to share a note requesting everyone from spreading so much negativity. In her note, she said, “I’m seeing the nonsense being spewed towards me for absolutely no reason coz of Raq. Well he has been my friend before, during and post our marriage and I stand by ALL my friends and wish them well in whatever they decide for themselves. And while I understand fandom and your passion towards your stars, I would love to personally hug out everyone trolling me unnecessarily coz I feel you all are deeply hurt.”
She went on to add, “But this entire situation that I’m being constantly being pulled into is not even remotely my circus.” She ended this line with a ‘folded hands’ emoji as she continued, “So please for your own sakes stop this negativity. I truly want to send you all love and healing. But Of course… After this explanation (that I honestly don’t need to give but I’m doing it so you all get peace), if you still want to continue being negative And if beating me down helps you Channelize your hurt I’m happy to help. Carry on and god bless you all.”

For the uninitiated, Ridhi Dogra and Raqesh Bapat met on the sets of the show Maryada and fell in love. The couple tied the knot in 2011 and after eight years of marriage, decided to part ways in 2019. After their separation, Raqesh entered the Bigg Boss house where he met Shamita Shetty and their bond not only became the highlight of the show, but they developed a massive fan base called #ShaRa who rooted for the couple, on and off screen.
